This past weekend I took the Basic Rider Course in Houston. It was a great learning experience and a lot of fun.

I had a perfect score on the written test and had 8 points deducted on the riding test (damn you box). This was my ride:



Tomorrow I will be going to DPS to take the state written test.

I am also considering the Yamaha WR250X. I will be using it as a commuter to school this fall. This has a smaller engine than the DRZ-400SM in the previous post, but it has a 6-speed transmission compared to the 5-speed of the 400.

Might be my new car.
